On Thursday, 13th July OBE received the Cleantech Award Baden-Württemberg 2017 as representative for the whole REProMag project consortium.
The European HORIZON2020 project, dealing with the ressource efficient production of permanent magnets based on recycled Rare-Earth material, was awarded the first price in the category „material efficiency“.
In a presentation ceremony in the Schwabenlandhalle in Fellbach, the Minister of the Environment, Climate Protection and the Energy Sector of Baden-Württemberg, Mr. Franz Untersteller awarded the project coordinator Prof. Dr. Carlo Burkhardt (OBE, Innovation & Technology) with the certificate and a trophy.
For the Cleantech Award Baden-Württemberg 2017, in total more than 80 projects competed in the four categories „energy efficiency“, „material efficiency“, „emission reduction, recycling & separation “ and „process measuring & control technology“.
We are very happy that REProMag succeeded in strong competition with high-level projects of very well-regarded companies in Baden-Württemberg. Congratulations!
